EGO' Boutique Hotel - The Silk Road

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Staff was incredibly welcoming and kind. Breakfast was delicious, and they packed us a breakfast for our last day because we were departing before service. Very centrally located.

The bed was super comfortable with selection of pillows of different firmness. Room was gorgeous and the view was second to none. The windows had great soundproofing, so you could listen to the sounds of the Grand Canal or easy shut it out. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful hotel, painted mural on the ceiling, very comfortable bed, very quiet at night, breakfast was delicious! We loved that it was a small boutique hotel. It is right on the Canal Grande, by the Rialto Bridge, and by the water taxi, so we were dropped off only a few steps from the entrance. We stayed in the Luna room. You can walk to everything. Simeon at the front desk was so personable and a great help in arranging a transfer to our next destination and recommending a wonderful restaurant, plus directions! We only wish we could have stayed a couple more nights!

The communication was excellent from organising taxi transfers and the gondola ride. The complimentary trip to Murano with a glass blowing factory tour was very enjoyable. The location was huge positive as the water taxi and Rialto bridge was on the door step. Breakfast was served in the room or breakfast room. Breakfast was ordered the night before and includes a wide range of hot and cold drinks and pastries. I would highly recommend and hope you visit again soon

The hotel were able to organise a car transfer (from Pisa’s second airport) and private boat to the hotel for an additional cost. This was absolutely worth it. Arriving privately by boat to the hotels own dock was priceless. The front house staff were enthusiastic, spoke English perfectly (we can speak Italian well- but good to know for those that can’t). They made fabulous recommendations for our family from suggesting locations for dinner where locals dine to easy activities. The room itself was exceptional - great bathroom with Ferragamo amenities, doors that opened over the walkway along the grand canal and efficient house keeping service (our rooms was always made up within an hour or two). Beautiful water (free in Murano bottles). We loved our stay here. The location is amazing- 100m to the Rialto bridge and even closer to the Rialto dock. Great shops nearby too and very close to Piazza San Marco also.
