EGO' Boutique Hotel - The Silk Road

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Staff was incredibly welcoming and kind. Breakfast was delicious, and they packed us a breakfast for our last day because we were departing before service. Very centrally located.

We received royal treatment at EGO’ Hotel. We had multiple family birthday celebrations in Venice and the hotel contacted us and helped make our stay extra special by ordering flowers, wine, cake and gondola tour reservations before our stay. Room was beautifully decorated and very clean, view of a Grand Canal was amazing! We ordered breakfast in the room and it was super fresh, nutritious and delicious! Special thanks to our room service lady (sorry I forgot the name) for bringing a birthday cake with a candle and singing a birthday song to my husband - truly a mice moment of care, made our day very special from the very beginning! Thank you!!

Beautiful hotel, painted mural on the ceiling, very comfortable bed, very quiet at night, breakfast was delicious! We loved that it was a small boutique hotel. It is right on the Canal Grande, by the Rialto Bridge, and by the water taxi, so we were dropped off only a few steps from the entrance. We stayed in the Luna room. You can walk to everything. Simeon at the front desk was so personable and a great help in arranging a transfer to our next destination and recommending a wonderful restaurant, plus directions! We only wish we could have stayed a couple more nights!

The location is perfect - close to the Rialto Bridge and a short walk to San Marco but also right outside the water bus and taxi stops so it’s easy to get to and get around but crucially there was no noise disturbance from all the activity outside so we slept really well! The bed was comfortable too. Effective air conditioning was important as it was late July and very hot outside. Our room was very clean and had views over the Grand Canal. We had breakfast delivered to our room every morning.

For one week, we lived a Florentine dream. Our apartment welcomed us like a scene from a Renaissance painting, With high ceilings adorned with hand-painted details. But it wasn’t just the place—it was the people who made this stay unforgettable. Francesca and Evita… what beautiful souls. Their kindness went beyond hospitality. They became our guides, our helpers, our friends. With every recommendation and thoughtful gesture, They made sure we felt not like guests—but family.
